Composite 8 Core Loop Feeder Cable. Each Core Composed of 7/0.50 mm Bare Copper Conductors, Polyethylene Insulated, Twinned, Jelly Filled, Polyethylene Inner Jacket, Aluminium Laminate Screened, Jelly Filled, PVC Jacketed. The 8 Cores are Cabled Together and Then Overall PVC Jacketed. Used Where Multiple Detector Loops are on the Same Feeder Line.
Traffic loop feeder cable is used to connect the detector loop to the control cabinet in traffic or vehicle detection systems. This cable is required to have extremely stable transmission properties in all environmental conditions as it is the change in the signal that “trips” the detector. Garlands loop feeder cable is jelly filled in order to stabilize its performance and can be used in systems that activate boom gates, doors, traffic lights or alarms. Loop detectors are used to control vehicle access and form an integral part of a site wide security system.
Pair the feeder cable with the loop cable (refer MC7051XLPE) in order to form the complete loop detector for these systems.
