The FOBOT provides an economical solution for splicing and managing optical fibre cables and feature heavier gauge steel. Each FOBOT comes with a full installation kit including splice trays (for up to 48 fibres), splice protectors, protective sleeving, mounting screws, and modular adapters for SC and LC connectors in both simplex and duplex configurations. The modular adapter panels feature improved heavier duty retaining clips making them more secure in the FOBOT front panel. The sliding FOBOT includes a heavier gauge ball bearing slide with a greater number of bearing surfaces for a smoother action. Cable entry is via the rear of the FOBOT drawer. Cable glands and strain relief posts retain the fibre. The 2 x 24f splice trays and splice combs manage and hold the splice protectors. Fibre managers maintain the correct bend radius and allow a smooth transition to the rear of the through adapters. The FOBOT has four angled entry points all with a protective metal cover, each cover can be removed individually as required to allow access to that entry point.
